About Me

I’m a data integration and system automation specialist Based in Ontario, Canada. I live with my wife, our three sons—each off on their own exciting journeys—and our two dogs, who join me on my regular hiking trips.

When not immersed in the world of code and algorithms, I shift gears and delve into the fantastical realm of steampunk. As a data integration and system automation specialist, I spend my days navigating the intricate workings of automation and data. But when the workday ends, I transform into a storyteller, weaving tales of adventure and intrigue set against the backdrop of a steam-powered metropolis.

My love for science and technology, especially space exploration, physics, and the ever-evolving field of computer automation often finds its way into my writing. This passion is evident in my latest novella, Echos of Redemption, a collection of four short stories that delve into themes of sacrifice and redemption against the backdrop of futuristic technology and human resilience.

Currently, I’m working on a new project – The Steam Chronicles, a young adult steampunk fantasy trilogy. This series promises to be a thrilling blend of action, intricate worldbuilding, and engaging characters, all while exploring thought-provoking themes about control versus freedom, innovation and progress, and the enduring power of resilience and hope.

I’m also a secular humanist and advocate for scientific literacy and critical thinking. I believe in the power of evidence-based reasoning and enjoy engaging in discussions that bridge the gap between technology, ethics, and society.

When not writing or working, I can be found hiking through the lush forests of Ontario with my wife and our two loyal dogs, or engaging in lively discussions with our three sons when they are home. I’m always seeking ways to merge my love for creativity with the logical world of data and science. My ultimate goal is to contribute to meaningful stories and technologies that inspire others to think critically and dream boldly.
